RD2035 was formed in 1919 to provide flood protection drainage, and irrigation water to Conaway Ranch and some adjoining lands in Eastern Yolo County. RD2035 is governed by a board of three trustees elected by landowners.
Purpose
RD2035 provides flood protection and/or water delivery services to approximately 21,000 acres. Water is diverted from the Sacramento River from the Intake Plant located immediately upstream from the Vietnam Veterans Bridge on I-5. Irrigation is also supplemented by 38 wells operated and maintained by the district which pump water in the irrigation system.
During the off season, some fields are flooded for rice decomp, hunting and provide for wildlife programs.
Reclamation District 2035 is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Reclamation District 2035
